Returns Policy
Account Customers with direct delivery
We aim to always provide high quality Goods that are fault free and undamaged. On occasion however, goods may need to be returned. Returns are governed by these Terms and Conditions.
If the Purchaser receives Goods which do not match those ordered, have faults, or have been damaged in transport, the items may be returned with the driver, along with a clearly marked delivery note stating what has been returned and the reason. A credit note will be raised upon receipt of the goods returned and sent to the customer.
If the Purchaser receives Goods which do not match those ordered, have faults, or have been damaged in transport and the driver is no longer with them, the Purchaser should contact the office to arrange an uplift with their next delivery.
Cases are either returnable or non-returnable and deposit is charged accordingly @ £4.00 for standard returnable cases and £8.44 for Delirium returnable cases.
Cases and kegs upon which deposits have been charged can also be returned with the driver. A credit note will be raised upon receipt of the goods returned, please note only cases full of empty bottles will receive a credit, if some bottles are missing the credit will be for the case only @ £2.50.
If the Goods have been dispatched or have reached you, but the Purchaser decides that they are no longer required, the Goods can be returned with a driver within 10 days of receipt. Goods can only be returned for this reason if their packaging remains unopened and the Goods can be re-sold, as new, without any additional work on the part of Cave Direct Ltd.
Only goods with less than one month’s shelf life at point of delivery will be considered for a refund.
Non-Account Customers with courier delivery
If the Purchaser receives Goods which do not match those ordered, the Purchaser should contact us within 10 working days to arrange collection and return. Cave Direct Ltd is responsible for paying shipment costs. The Purchaser will be given the option to have the Goods replaced with those ordered (if available) or to be refunded through the payment method used when the Goods were purchased. Refunds and replacements will be issued upon our receipt of the returned Goods.
If any Goods purchased have faults when they are delivered, the Purchaser should contact info@cavedirect.com within 10 working days to arrange collection and return. Cave Direct Ltd is responsible for paying shipment costs. Goods must be returned in their original condition with all packaging and documentation. Upon receipt of the returned Goods, the price of the Goods, as paid, including carriage will be refunded through the payment method used when the Goods were purchased.
If Goods are damaged in transit and the damage is apparent on delivery, the Purchaser should sign the delivery note to the effect that the goods have been damaged. In any event, such damage should be reported to info@cavedirect.com within 10 working days and arrange collection and return. Cave Direct Ltd is responsible for paying shipment costs. Upon receipt of the returned Goods, the price of the Goods, as paid, will be refunded through the payment method used when the Goods were purchased.
If the Goods have been dispatched or have reached you, but the Purchaser decides that they are no longer required, the Goods can be returned to Cave Direct within 10 days of receipt. Goods can only be returned for this reason if their packaging remains unopened and the Goods can be re-sold, as new, without any additional work on the part of Cave Direct Ltd. The Purchaser is responsible for paying shipment costs if Goods are returned for this reason.

The cost of the return of cases and kegs on which deposits have been charged, unless by prior agreement, shall be paid by the Purchaser.
Cases are either returnable or non-returnable and a deposit is charged separately @ £4.00 for standard returnable cases and £8.44 for Delirium returnable cases.
Certain kegs include a £20.00 deposit in the price, in this instance, a message which says ‘Price includes £20 refundable keg deposit’ will be displayed.
