Amber, Red & Brown

Amber beers are made with a smallish amounts of roast malts, which can add anything from burnt toast to caramel to the aroma and flavour. Most ambers come from Belgium, where they also have a strong fruit character that comes from their unique yeast strains. Famous Belgian amber beers include Bruges Zot Brun and De Konink.
